And here comes the legal talk. To me, this all seems a little silly, but I have been told by a handful of people that I have to have it. Apparently there are a few dumb people out there, who like to do dumb things. So I’d rather be safe than sorry and make sure I cover all my bases.

I’m excited to share my story with you, and I’m glad that you’ve decided to stick around and ride out this crazy ride with me. But I hope that you fully understand that part of what makes this such an adventure, is that fact that I am not a professional or expert of any kind. I’m not training to become  any kind of life coach or nutritionist. I don’t even have a gym membership.  So while I really hope you leave here with some inspiration or, at least, a smile, please understand that you are reading all this at your own risk and of your own free will.  Also, while I’d love to hear from you and encourage comments, please note that vulgarity and/or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.  I may throw the word shit around a little bit too much, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have any class. Anything that gets posted that I feel will subject me to a third party liability, or just rubs me the wrong way, will be removed.

Copyright Policy

This is a “Creative Recovery” blog. I’m rewiring my thoughts and rebuilding my life. So needless to say, I’m starting a lot of new projects. So far I’ve managed to tie about 90% of these projects back to this blog. Meaning I’m constantly writing, taking pictures, working on new designs and ideas, driving my husband nuts telling him all about the site, etc.. So unless otherwise noted, I am the legal copyright holder of all material on this blog (posts, pictures, opinions).  If you would like to reprint or publish any of my content, please note that you will need my written consent. Which is no biggie, I’m nice.

Hold Harmless

Again, this is just a blog, not a bible. I’m sharing my personal experience and opinion. At no point will I ever give out medical or legal advice. If you attempt anything that is mentioned on this blog, you are doing so at your own risk.

Privacy Statement

It’s weird being vulnerable about such raw topics. But please don’t think that since I’m opening up, that I’m going to run and share your info too. Any personal or contact information that is collected is safe with me. It will not be added to any kind of spam list or sold off to another company. As of right now (2/15/16) mail chimp is still not fully setup. Once it is up and running, I hope you will choose to subscribe. Please note that when subscribing to the newsletter, you are adhering to mail chimp’s privacy policy.

Reserve Rights

If life were predictable or easy, Letting Boe Rae Shine probably wouldn’t ever of come to exist. As excited as I am about all this, I also know that life is what happens while we’re busy making plans. So with that, I reserve the right to change the focus of my blog, shut it down, sell it, or change the terms of use at my own discretion, with or without advance notice.

Advertisers and Sponsors

If the opportunity ever comes, please note that I am not responsible for the actions of the advertisers or sponsors on this site.  You are responsible for any service or product you get based on any info from this site. Meaning you must take action and resolve any and all issues with that company, NOT ME. If this ever happens, I’ll do my best to pick reliable ads and sponsors to avoid conflict to begin with…but again, I’m sure that’s way down the road.

Letters to the Editor

I want to hear from y’all! I’d love to get to know some folks and hear what you have to say. Even the mean stuff. Bring it on. You can e-mail me, add me on Facebook, comment on any of the posts, or all of the above. I want this to be a place to share and grow, so if you have a post you’d like me to put on here, let me know. I’m always looking for inspiration so please don’t be shy.
