Creative Living

When I started to give up dieting, I started to see how much of my “life” I was freeing up as well. Now that I’m not spending all of my afternoons googling the latest info on resistant starches, or making monthly menus filled with meals I’ll end up skipping anyways, I have a lot of free time on my hands. This has been refreshing and terrifying all at the same time.

This is where I’ve really had to get creative, because if I get bored, I’m screwed. The more I listen to my gut and go with what I feel, the easier it gets to stay focused and not to overthink everything. But life is crazy and I’m not perfect. When those moments come and fear starts to creep back in, here are some of my favorite go-to resources to check out when I need some motivation to stick with it and get creative.

Here are a few of my favorite Intuitive Living bloggers that I follow.

Lauren Fowler–  I have only followed Mindful Meals for a couple of months, but she is amazing.  Lauren is a Registered Dietitian and Yoga Teacher who offers coaching and free e-mail courses to help you make peace with food and live the life you want.

Simi Botic- Simi is one of the 1st bloggers I found when I 1st started getting into intuitive living.  She is a corporate attorney turned intuitive eating holistic health coach who knows 1st hand how to nourish from the inside out. She has online courses and free video series to help you break up with binging and get out of diet hell.

Kate at Eat the Damn Cake – Now this WAS the 1st body love/acceptance blog I found back in 2012, and it changed everything. Kate is no longer blogging, but her old posts are still up for you to go binge read. Enjoy!
